A-Frames are amazingly fast order filling devices. You need to have and select the right type of product. Often, only a portion of an order is picked by the A-Frame - namely small fast moving items. The best items can be stacked easlily for replenishment, they stack compactly (not tall), and they are common to many orders. The labor for an A-Frame is spent in the replenishment function, and it is important that the machine not run out of fast movers during operation.
